TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Welcome to Bonne Vie Candy Co. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bonneviecandyco.com and any services, products, information, or features offered by Bonne Vie Candy Co. (“Bonne Vie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our website, submitting an inquiry, placing an order, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. ABOUT BONNE VIE
Bonne Vie Candy Co. is a California-based candy company offering Swedish and specialty candy, candy carts and event services, pop-ups, custom gifting, favors, and related products and services.
Products and services offered may change from time to time and may be subject to availability.
2. WEBSITE USE
You may use our website for lawful, personal, and commercial inquiry purposes.
You agree not to:
Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website
Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our website content without permission
Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
Use automated systems to scrape, collect, or reproduce content from our website without authorization
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our candy, packaging, event setups, gifting options, and other products.
Because many of our offerings are sourced from third-party manufacturers and suppliers, specific candies, flavors, colors, packaging, or other items may become unavailable.
When necessary, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions with products of similar style, quality, or value.
Product appearance may vary slightly from photographs shown on our website, social media, marketing materials, or proposals.
4. EVENT SERVICES AND BOOKINGS
Submitting an inquiry through our website does not guarantee availability or constitute a confirmed booking.
An event is considered confirmed only after any required agreement has been completed and any required deposit or payment has been received.
Specific pricing, services, quantities, setup requirements, timing, cancellation terms, and other event details may be contained in a separate proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
If a separate written agreement between you and Bonne Vie contains terms that conflict with these Terms, the terms of the separate written agreement will control with respect to that booking.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate event information, including the date, location, guest count, access instructions, venue requirements, and any other information reasonably necessary for Bonne Vie to provide the requested services.
5. EVENT ACCESS AND VENUE REQUIREMENTS
Clients are responsible for ensuring that Bonne Vie has reasonable access to the event location for delivery, setup, service, and removal of equipment.
The client is responsible for obtaining any venue approvals or permissions required for the requested setup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Additional charges may apply when an event requires unusual delivery conditions, extended setup time, stairs, long-distance transport from the unloading area, parking fees, valet fees, venue-required labor, or other circumstances not disclosed when the event was booked.
6. PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS, AND CANCELLATIONS
Pricing and payment requirements may vary depending on the product or service.
For event services and custom orders, a deposit or advance payment may be required to reserve the date or begin production.
Unless otherwise stated in your proposal, invoice, or service agreement, payments made toward custom products, special orders, or event reservations may become non-refundable once products have been purchased, custom work has begun, or the event date has been reserved.
Any cancellation, rescheduling, refund, or credit will be handled according to the terms provided with the applicable booking, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
7. CUSTOM ORDERS AND GIFTING
Custom gifting, favors, packaging, labels, event products, and other personalized items may require advance approval.
Clients are responsible for reviewing names, dates, spelling, artwork, quantities, colors, and other customization details before approving an order.
Once an approved custom order has entered production, changes may not be possible and payments may be non-refundable.
Colors and printed materials may vary slightly from digital proofs due to differences in screens, printing methods, materials, and production processes.
8. FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETARY INFORMATION
Bonne Vie offers products manufactured and packaged by various third-party candy manufacturers and suppliers.
Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, and other allergens.
Some products may be manufactured or packaged in facilities that also process allergens.
Ingredient, allergen, dietary, and nutritional information is based on information provided by manufacturers and suppliers and may change without notice.
If you or one of your guests has a food allergy, intolerance, dietary restriction, or other food-related concern, please notify Bonne Vie before ordering or consuming any product.
Bonne Vie cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact unless expressly stated in writing.
Customers and event hosts are responsible for determining whether a particular product is appropriate for themselves or their guests.
9. CHILDREN AND CANDY
Some candies may present a choking hazard, particularly for young children.
Parents, guardians, caregivers, and event hosts are responsible for supervising children and determining whether individual candies are age-appropriate.
Bonne Vie is not responsible for injuries resulting from inappropriate consumption, lack of supervision, or use of products contrary to manufacturer warnings or instructions.
10. EVENT EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY
Any carts, displays, containers, serving pieces, décor, signage, or other equipment supplied by Bonne Vie for temporary event use remain the property of Bonne Vie unless otherwise stated.
Clients may be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing equipment that is lost, stolen, damaged, or improperly handled during an event, except for ordinary wear and tear.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Bonne Vie may photograph or record its own candy displays, carts, packaging, installations, and event setups for portfolio, website, and social media purposes where permitted.
We will make reasonable efforts to avoid prominently featuring identifiable guests without appropriate permission.
If you do not want your event setup photographed or shared by Bonne Vie, please notify us before the event.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Bonne Vie name, Bonne Vie Candy Co. name, logos, branding, graphics, illustrations, photographs, website design, written content, packaging designs, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Bonne Vie and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially use our intellectual property without our prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under California or federal law.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
Bonne Vie will not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fires, power outages, transportation disruptions, supplier shortages, government restrictions, venue closures, emergencies, labor disruptions, or similar events.
If such circumstances affect an event or order, we will make reasonable efforts to work with the client on an appropriate solution.
17. PRIVACY
Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
